Wear Your Own Clothes Day

Friday 23rd April 2021

A family who has close connections with three of our Trust schools, tragically lost their eleven year old child to a rare form of brain stem cancer on 23rd March 2021.

Our heartfelt thoughts go to this family at these very difficult times.

To show our support for the family and to raise funds for vital research, all schools in the Trust will be holding a Wear Your Own Clothes Day on Friday 23rd April 2021.

All money raised will go to a charity called Abbie’s Army. This charity was set up in memory of a child who lost her life to the same disease – Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Please help us to raise much needed funds for research to find a cure for this devastating disease.  DIPG affects up to 40 children per year in the UK. It is extremely aggressive, with an average survival rate of between 9-12 months.

Thank you in advance for your support.
