Christmas @ St Bot’s 2023

This Christmas, we have been taking part in many events and activities to help us celebrate.

Our festivities began on Thursday 30th November, when we held our Tree dressing worship, decorating our two Christmas trees with handmade decorations that all the pupils had made. We sang Christmas carols while each class added their decorations.

On Friday 1st December, we came to school wearing Christmas outfits. The hall had been decorated with our class Christmas hoops and after school FOSB held the 2023 Christmas Fair. It was very busy with a variety of stalls to keep everyone entertained. The following morning, FOSB provided the annual Breakfast with Santa event. We had over 100 children who came to meet Santa and share breakfast.

On Wednesday 13th December, we had our school Christmas lunch. The kitchen staff cooked us a wonderful meal and the staff served us while we enjoyed our lunch together. We were all given a Christmas hat to help us get into the festive mood!

In between this, we have had a Christmas show, been to the pantomime, heard the choir sing in many Christmas events and watched the Christmas performances by EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and KS2.

It is starting to feel a bit like Christmas at St Botolph’s! 🎄
