On Friday 20th November, Year 4 attended the Festival of Lights in Gravesend. Earlier this month, Same Sky Arts visited Year 4 to help them make Christmas lanterns around the themes of local heroes, friendship and community. Many children from local schools took part in a lantern parade led by The Mayor of Gravesham Cllr Lyn Milner. We started the parade at Community square and then made our way through the town, with the Christmas lights being switched on as we passed by.
