‘Safety in Action’ is an interactive event for Year 6 children to learn about some of the dangers they may face as they become more independent and prepare for transition to secondary school.
A number of scenarios are set up, designed to simulate and provide information about a variety of topics including:
- Drugs/Alcohol
- Fire Safety
- Water Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Rail and Road Safety
- Online Safety
- Personal Safety
- Stranger Danger
- Emergency Life Support
On Tuesday 12th July, Year 6 visited Cobham Hall School to take part in Safety in Action. The children were divided into teams to experience each scenario and learn about keeping themselves and others safe.
