A family who has close connections with three of the schools in our Trust, tragically lost their eleven year old child to a rare form of brain stem cancer on 23rd March 2021. To show our support for the family and to raise funds for vital research, all schools in the Trust held a Wear Your Own Clothes Day on Friday 23rd April 2021. All money raised will go to a charity called Abbie’s Army (Abbie’s Army) – a charity set up in memory of a child who lost her life to the same disease – Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
