To complete our ‘Srumdiddlyumptious‘ topic, we made fruit smoothies. We got into teams to decide on the fruits we needed and the juice we wanted to add. Then, on Thursday 6th January, we went on a trip to Lidl.
When we got there, the store manager welcomed us and gave us all bags to put our fruit in. In our groups, we had to find the fruits we needed and then make sure we had enough money to buy everything by adding up each item to get a total. We then took our purchases to the till to pay. Afterwards, the staff at Lidl gave us all a piece of fruit to enjoy on the walk back.
Once we returned to school, we carefully chopped our fruit and then blended our smoothies together. They tasted scrumpdiddlyumptious!
