Year 6 chose to raise money to support Christian Aid this year. The charity works to support sustainable development, eradicate poverty, support civil society and provide disaster relief in South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. It works with hundreds of local partner organisations in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities in 24 countries.
With Christian Aid week being held from 15-21st May 2022, Year 6 decided to hold a Spring Fair to raise vital funds for this worthwhile charity. They spent time designing their stalls and creating posters to advertise them. There were a large number of stalls on the playground, some messier than others, and every child had the opportunity to take part.
We are pleased to announce that Year 6 raised a whopping £318.56 for Christian Aid.
