APPLYING FOR A RECEPTION PLACE

The application process for Reception Year Admissions for September 2019 has now closed. If you wish to add your child to our waiting list, please use the In Year Admissions process as detailed below.

Appeals Timetable

If your child is due to start primary, infant or junior school in 2019 you can appeal between 16 April and 21 May 2019 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 23 July 2019. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.

In year admissions

To apply for a place outside of the Reception Admissions you will need to complete an In Year Casual Application Form. This can be downloaded here. This form will need to be completed and returned directly to the school office at St Botolph’s, together with a St Botolph’s Supplementary Form (which can be downloaded from the link below).

To check to see if you live within the parish of St Botolph’s and St Mark’s, please visit A Church Near You and enter your postcode.

Please note, if your child is offered a place at St Botolph’s, you will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate and proof of address.

The best way to decide upon the right school for a child, is to visit it! Parents and carers of prospective pupils are very welcome to visit the school at any time by appointment. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
