Year 5 Author visit
On Thursday, 22nd February, we had the pleasure of inviting the author, James Jefferson, to speak to Year 5 to support them in their learning about space. James Jefferson is the children’s author of the book ‘I Want to Go to Space’. This book is about a boy called Jimmy & a girl called Jessica who love everything about space, when they receive a telescope on Christmas day it brings them even closer to their passions. They imagine what adventures they would have.
During the visit, the children had the opportunity to enjoy reading the author’s book, learning about space and asking the many questions they had about space.
