Ramadan 2024
Ramadan 2024 began on Monday 11th March. On Thursday 23rd March, we welcomed Imam Muhammad Bilal Raza to our school. He led us in worship, which included telling us all about Ramadan (the month of Mercy and Forgiveness) and why this time is so important to Muslims worldwide. He taught us how Muslims mark this special time, including telling us about fasting and why Muslims do this. He explained the history behind Ramadan, including the Night of Power. Four of our Muslim pupils also demonstrated how Muslims pray.
