St. Bot’s Bake Off Round 3: An Egg-cellent Easter Challenge! 🐣

Round 3 of the St. Botolph’s Bake Off brought a burst of Easter creativity into the classroom, as our youngest bakers took centre stage!

This round featured three fantastic teams made up of Phase 1 children, with one pupil from EYFS and two from Year 1 in each group.

The Easter theme inspired some truly imaginative bakes, and the teamwork on display was just as impressive as the final creations.

The Teams & Their Bakes

Dynamic Duo
Dynamic Duo wowed us with their delicious carrot cupcakes, beautifully decorated with green, brown and orange icing. Their attention to detail really stood out, with sugar carrots, bunnies and other Easter-themed decorations bringing their bake to life.

Amelia’s Easter Nest Squad
This team created chocolate cupcakes designed to look like Easter nests, topped with colourful mini eggs. Their bake perfectly captured the spirit of Easter and showed great creativity in both presentation and theme.

🏆 A huge congratulations to Amelia’s Easter Nest Squad, who were crowned this round’s winners!

Cheesecake
Team Cheesecake produced a selection of cupcakes topped with vanilla and chocolate icing, finished with an exciting variety of Easter treats. From mini eggs to bunny decorations and sugar carrots, their bake was full of fun and flavour.

A Fantastic Round

All three teams demonstrated excellent teamwork, creativity and enthusiasm throughout the challenge. It was wonderful to see our younger pupils building confidence, supporting one another and taking pride in their work.

A big well done to everyone who took part – you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts!

We can’t wait to see what Round 4 will bring… 👀
