The St Botolph’s Curriculum has carefully planned activities and learning which matches our children’s needs, broadening their horizons and widening their opportunities. Learning is carefully connected, interweaving knowledge and skills to make it meaningful, while ensuring that the National Curriculum is followed.
Due to the current situation, we are unfortunately unable to invite parents in to view our school. Instead, we have produced the following videos, which will offer an insight into life at St Botolph’s.
The application process for admission into Reception Year in September 2021 opened on 5th November 2020, with the closing date for applications being Friday 15th January 2021. Applications must be made online at: Kent Primary School Admissions and any late applications must be received by Wednesday 5th May 2021. National Offer Day is Friday 16th April 2021.
In addition to the online application, you will also need to complete a St Botolph’s C of E Primary School Supplementary Form, which includes details of our admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria.This form can be downloaded here and must be completed and RETURNED TO OUR SCHOOL OFFICE by Friday 15th January 2021.
To see whether you live within the parish of St Botolph’s and St Mark’s, please visit A Church Near You and enter your postcode. Please note, if your child is offered a place at St Botolph’s, you will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate and proof of address.
If your child is due to start primary school in 2021 you can appeal between Friday 16th April 2021 and Monday 17th May 2021.
For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeals being lodged.
In Year Admissions
To apply for a place outside of the Reception Admissions you will need to complete an In Year Admission Form. This form will need to be returned directly to the School Office at St Botolph’s, together with a St Botolph’s Supplementary Form.
