Year 6 ‘Why Christmas?’ visit
Year 6 were invited to the church to take part in a workshop called ‘Why Christmas?’.
During this workshop, the children learnt the real story behind why we celebrate Christmas, with the support of chocolates, and took part in a quiz involving true or false questions about Christmas. Next, we decorated our own baubles and completed a treasure hunt where we had to move around the church to answer some questions. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and learnt the true meaning behind Christmas.
