Dodgeball Drama: The Trust Games Heat Up!

Dodgeball Drama: The Trust Games Heat Up!

Last night, our Year 3 and 4 pupils had an incredible time taking part in the second round of this year’s Trust Games, hosted by Saint George’s School. The Trust Dodgeball Event was fast-paced, exciting, and full of energy, with 11 schools and 110 pupils coming together – a brilliant showcase of the strength and spirit of our Trust community.

From the very first throw to the final whistle, the hall was buzzing! Our pupils threw themselves wholeheartedly into the action, showing determination, teamwork, and plenty of smiles along the way. Dodgeball was clearly enjoyed by all, with every game full of energy and friendly competition.

The evening was incredibly competitive. With two separate three-way ties during the group stages, tensions ran high, and the excitement built up to two sudden-death round-robin play-offs – unforgettable moments for players and spectators alike! Throughout, our pupils displayed fantastic sportsmanship and skill, representing St Botolph’s with pride.

We are delighted with the final standings, where St Botolph’s finished 6th in a strong field:

  1. Sedley’s

  2. Halling

  3. Sutton-at-Hone

  4. Horton Kirby

  5. Cliffe Woods

  6. St. Botolph’s

  7. Shorne

  8. Stone St Mary’s

  9. Saint George’s

  10. Holy Trinity

  11. Rosherville

Congratulations to Sedley’s for their well-deserved victory!

Our pupils are already looking forward to the next Trust Games event – the Basketball Event for Years 5 and 6 on 26th January 2026. These events are such a wonderful way to build confidence, connection, and joy across our Trust schools.

Well done to all the pupils, staff, and leaders involved – it was a fantastic celebration of teamwork, enthusiasm, and the values that make the Aletheia Academies Trust so special!
