Diwali 2025
During our celebration of Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, pupils took part in a vibrant day of learning and cultural exploration. Children learned about the significance of Diwali and why Sikhs and Hindus around the world celebrate this important festival. The day included a range of engaging activities such as creating Rangoli patterns, enjoying Diwali dancing and sharing sweet treats. It was particularly lovely to see children wearing traditional clothing from a range of different cultures, helping to create a colourful and inclusive atmosphere. This experience supported pupils’ understanding of different cultures and traditions and encouraged respect, curiosity and celebration of diversity within our school community.
