On Tuesday 28th March, members of our choir took part in this year’s Trust Music Concert, held at The Woodville, Gravesend. The theme this year was ‘The Weather’. All the Trust choirs, consisting of 12 schools, started as a whole group with ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ before performing individual songs linked to the theme. At the end, all the choirs came back together to sing songs from ‘Frozen’ conducted by Mrs Chitty.
The St Botolph’s choir sang a Weather Medley consisting of ‘Summer Breeze’, ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’, ‘Here Comes The Sun’ and many other weather-related songs, expertly arranged by our Music specialist, Mrs Riches. We were also very lucky to have a band consisting of Mstr Riches on drums, Mr Sykes on bass, Mr Annable on guitar and Mrs Riches on the keyboard.
Congratulations to everyone participated from St Botolph’s and from our other Trust schools. With an audience filling the whole of the theatre, the atmosphere was amazing, the performances were exceptional and a fantastic evening was had by all.
