Some of our budding artists in Year 5 and 6 were fortunate to take part in an Art Workshop delivered by Blueprint Arts on Friday 17th March.
Blueprint Arts are a company who brings immersive, captivating and inclusive experiences in the Arts to the communities they work with. The artists believe in the power of the arts to transform people and places and are passionate about using this powerful medium to create excitement, aspiration and joy for individuals and communities and invigorate and renew the places they live.
The artwork created during the workshop will be used as part of the ‘Tales of the Lost Worlds’ immersive story trail being held on 25th March across Ebbsfleet and surrounding neighbourhoods.
The children had a great time, creating their own design inspired by African art and then transforming this into a printing block. They then used different coloured paints and inks to transfer these designs to paper and collage them to create their final pieces of art.
