On Monday 29th November 2021, children in Year 5 took part in a three-legged run to raise money for their chosen charity ‘We are Beams’, a local charity that supports disabled children, young people and their families. The charity’s mission is to provide comprehensive support services to families of children and young people with any form of physical, learning or sensory impairment living in Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas. Children were also encouraged to wear odd socks for the event.
The children had a lot of fun, supporting on each other and working as a team whilst raising an amazing £225.50 for We are Beams!
